These are some of my favorite treats… so buttery and delicious. Just looking at the pictures makes me homesick for them! (Or is it sandwichsick??? That does not sound good.)
Did I mention that these are a blast to make, as well? I love slopping the buttery topping onto the sandwiches. Don’t ask my why… just go do it yourself!

Poppyseed Ham and Swiss Sliders
For the Sliders:
1 dozen Hawaiian rolls
8 ounces thinly-sliced ham
4 ounces Swiss cheese, sliced
BUTTER!!!
For the Buttery Poppyseed Topping:
4 tablespoons salted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tablespoon mustard
As many poppyseeds as your heart desires
To make:
Preheat them oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Slice the rolls in half and place them on a cookie sheet.
Butter the rolls.
Layer the ham and cheese on the bottom halves of the rolls and place the top halves of the rolls on top.
Stir the topping ingredients together and slop as much topping over the sliders as you deem both wise and delicious.
Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Uncover and bake for 3-5 more minutes.
Enjoy warm, with a napkin close at hand!
Note: If you don’t use all of the topping, you can refrigerate it and use it on savory sandwiches instead of regular butter. Delish!
