Little Scraps of Life – June 2020 Edition

Hello, peoples!

Traditionally we would be looking at an interview or two today… but the interviews are still brewing. They’ll be on here very soon, but I just wanted to drop in here and let you know that I didn’t forget… and to share a few tidbits of life lately.

First of all, the photo. Isn’t this little guy cute??? I can’t get over his expression. Meet Chuck, people. He is officially my favorite kitten of the year. He’s a little chubby, and recently got himself stuck in a tree. Literally stuck. One of my sweet and heroic sisters had to rescue him.

I just started reading this book. It came recommended by my brother Peyton, and so far I’ve been enjoying it. Dickens has a hilarious way of describing people, and I love how the characters and events are all tied together in Dickens’ plots.

Sibling time is the best! Playing volleyball, reading Shakespeare, singing together, laughing uproariously… I treasure these moments.

Then there is Econ… Econ, how I love thee. Bleh. It’s not actually that bad… it’s just not that great, either.

Despite Econ and other trifling disturbances, life is amazing, simply because God is amazing. He crams my life full of beautiful little things, just because He wants to. I am blessed. Even if He didn’t make my life so lovely, it would be just fine and by His grace I would still praise Him… because I love Him and He deserves it.
